Next workhorse, let's not make it a Passat

2007 although some are ED and some are not. Easiest way to tell is to put the reg into the Vehicle Excise online thing and it'll tell you the CO2 output. All the M Sport 'Edition' models are ED.

Frankly though if buying used something like this is surely hard to beat:

You'd get that for what, 25-26k. It's only got 3k on it, it's under a year old, it's an Efficient Dynamics model, it's not that slow, and its got all the kit you need and nothing you don't.

This one isn't bad, either..

Well yeah, that's what I'm half thinking now - 4,000 miles on the clock to scrub off the VAT and kerching £.

The one I drove was a late 07, 8,000 mile 320 D M Sport Manual in Met Blue with Alcantara & some Bluetoof crap. He said I could have that for £17k.

I thought about it for 23 seconds then I realised I wanted a job where I could earn some money and not get made redundant. And not have to say 'We'll get you out of that and into this X5 sir for the same monthly.. ARHGHGHGHGHHGHGGH.

So, yea.

My boss just got a brand new Passat Bluemotion. I have to say, its a very very bland car and the inside reminds me of a vectra!

I haven't driven the Legacy yet, I will though - because I am definately interested in it. Three plus points of the Legacy are the AWD, the price and the extra space.

But yes the BMW is probably the fav.

Hmm, the APR is going to make my boss angry. I need it to look better before I go in and grovel, so either BMW reduce it - or I get the tipex out.
