Lazy port, no server browser, etc.
Game crashed 5 times for me, releases in 9 days.
Pretty boring, game play wasn't very enjoyable.

They are rolling out features to the beta in three stages. Presumably so they can test things in isolation. The server browser isn't going to be tested until the second beta phase. From their page...

Beta Phase 1
Starts on: 04/14/2012
• Features: Quick Match, Stats, Ranking, Medals
• Maps: Vigor, Station, Crash

Beta Phase 2
Starts on: 04/18/2012
• Features: Custom Server Browser, Dedicated Servers, Achievements, Mutator Options
• Maps: Strength, Overlook, Sanctuary

Beta Phase 3
Starts on: 04/27/2012
• Features: Offline Bot Training, LAN Party,
• Maps: Tension, Refinery, Vertigo

Beta will end on April 29th at 23:59 EST.

Just had a brief go,

Needs a good pc, harder than crysis 2 to get smooth fps
Took about 10 minutes to get into a game
Map I played was TINY and not very interesting
Graphics were good but also some kind of blur filter being used that made everything look out of focus.

I still look forward to this game.

Thats my experience of the game so far aswell, looking forward to dedicated servers and custom maps.

I played the updated beta and things had improved quite a lot as regards to fps and smoothness.

And I understand now the small maps thing with only 4 per team.

This unlocks at 6pm, anyone going to be playing? I'm quite excited.

I think its exceptional if you like this sort of thing.

I'll try and get some screenshots in here so you can get a taste for it.

This is a proper skill based fps, well apart from the mutators but I guess its balanced as the mutator is a collectible that either team can collect.

For the price its mental, I'd advise twitch shooter fans to not delay in getting this.

After each match is over and a new map is selected the game crashes to desktop everytime

^ doesn't happen anymore with steam verify.

Anyway, this game when I try to search for an online match only ever has about 3 games either full or with 1/8 in it.

Don't think I've had a full session on this yet because of the lack of people playing it.
