*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I would cancel

Having a 5" phone means a small tablet is just not needed. I never use my N7 and its now the wives.

Big phone and big tablet

Guess it depends on the person then because once I get home, I hardly use my phone and its the iPad when im downstairs and then the N7 upstairs.

yeah true, for me i found it easier to use the N5 over the N7 as i could also text and call people. the gulf was two small, using N5 and N10 now and wife well happy with N7

but whatever suits whoever really

Received the 4.4.2 update last night. My N10 is now very nippy.

Really impressed with this tablet. I owned a TF300 last year and it was rubbish. The 10" form factor is great.

Poetic black case arrived today.

Oh Wow I just missed out on a deal on ebay by 10 seconds.

£215 for a 32gb Nexus 10

I feel :( so :(

It was a reputable seller, can't mention their name but it was brand new.

I got this tablet for an elderly relative thinking it would be sturdy and reliable, unfortunately not :(

Apparently it had been freezing every now and then over the last few weeks where the only way to get it to reboot was to hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Yesterday I had a look and it seems my uncle didn't understand the tab system in Chrome and had been opening a new tab every time he used the internet. This meant there were hundreds of tabs open and most likely what was causing the freezes. Anyway I started closing the tabs and half way through it froze and it seems to be stuck in a boot loop now? The Google logo comes up but it then freezes once the coloured circles loading screen comes up. It never gets as far as the home screen, after a minute or two it just repeats this process. I was looking at instructions to do a hard reset so I tried pressing the power and volume buttons together and then selected recovery mode option but it only comes up with a screen saying 'No command'? It has the latest software 4.4.2 and I haven't rooted or done anything like that? Not sure what else to do, send it back perhaps??

Call Google they are pretty good. YouTube will have guides. But tbh If it has been crashing I would RMA. You should be able to have a shed load of windows and apps open. Mine never crashes now. It used to on early jellybean but not for months. I would swap it out.

Well I had left it alone for the last 24 hours and when I came home tonight it was completely dead, it had been in a boot loop I couldn't stop so that ran the battery down. Anyway I plugged it in and low and behold it booted up fine. I was playing around with it for 10 minutes avoiding Chrome. WHen I finally did open chrome it lasted about 30 seconds before freezing and going into a boot loop again! Seems to be something seriously wrong with Chrome. I have installed Dolphin browser for now and will see how that goes?

You can't remove system apps as they're on the read only part of he file system. Disabling them is just as good, and wont break future updates.

Every so often I have issues with chrome. I use Firefox until there is a chrome update. Often that fixes it until a future update causes it to crash again
