Yea, it's a very wishful "hopefully".
This might sound like a fanboy comment, but I am sick to the back teeth of everyone lambasting the (lack of) tablet apps on the Android market. They talk about it like a crippling issue but from someone who has been through 3 or 4 Android tablets since Honeycomb launched and using my tablet every day it's more of an issue of variety than a problem that will cause any kind of major headache.
Pretty much all games work fine, a plethora of news readers and social clients. It is as lacking as claimed but it's not as crippling as they would have you believe.
It's this kind of talk that causes the very issue!
Hopefully the nexus will shake things up, but at the moment I can't see it. To me, an Android tablet is an everyday thing, it works, I love them and will continue to buy them. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the platform... So it feels strange to me that all round Android tablet sales are so low.
Maybe the lower price and great specs will entice people, I just feel like the media don't want to give it a chance either.
