Mine was a 32GB also, weirdly though my shipping number shows a delivery from the 16th to Daventry. the plot thickens

That is strange as mine said it was delivered to Harlow on 16th too! However, my sister just confirmed that the item has now arrived. Placed an order on 20th for 32GB version so looking forward to testing it out after work. Was really not expecting it to be delivered this soon though.

Only thing that worries me about the Nexus is the apparent lack of tablet optimised apps though I'm hoping that's not a big issue. I know the iPad has plenty but I've grown to hate Apple and much prefer the Android OS.

Every reviewer harps on about this. Sure, there aren't as many tablet apps available as the ipad, but there are ever increasing number. Apps have a 'HD' equivalent which is the tablet version of the app. Others just handle tablets natively.

Certainly don't be put off by this hype.

As above Android apps are designed to scale well across loads of different resolutions due to the fact it's such an open system so it's not really an issue.

Now need to get a case, can anyone recommend one ?

I've not seen anything apart for from a couple of slip cases. Looks like we will have to wait a while for stuff to be released.

Missus ordered me one for my birthday (22nd Dec) yesterday expecting it to arrive in December some time as it said on the product page "ships in 2 - 3 weeks".

Its out for delivery today.

Now that's what you pay the £10 for!
