*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

Someone had bleed and multi-touch problems, they sent it direct to Samsung, they replaced the panel and it still suffered bleed problems.

I think you're going to have to wait for the next generation before they sort the QC issues out, these are built to cost, they won't be fixed any time soon.

Hmm. Doesn't sound idea, but what alternatives are there at the same spec level? And Apple isn't an option for me. The Tab 2 10.1 seems to have good reviews but doesn't stack up against the Nexus.

A little bit of bleed isn't a defect anyway... Lcd screens have been bleeding since they were invented. They need to get light across the front of the screen whilst working with extremely tight tolerances. Some of the "examples" people post of this "problem" really are quite pathetic.

I have plenty of experience of LCD screens and the bleed on the N10 is totally unacceptable. They are very white spot bleeds which are very noticeable when viewing letterboxed video or just using the android os with the black navigation bar at the bottom.

Im guessing it will be afew months before hitting the stores! Its only just turned up on Walmart/Staples websites in the US and out of stock. Lets hope they sort out the issues "before" hitting the stores.

EDIT: Also anyone found out how to adjust the black levels, watching movies on this the blacks look more grey really annoying.

My Nexus 10 is perfect. I cant see any bleed in a pitch black room on full brightness, well nothing I would consider a problem. Full brightness is way to bright in a dark room anyway!

Its super quick and has a wonderful resolution. I thought my Nexus 7 was crystal clear, but going back to it after a few hours and it looked like a fisher price toy screen wise.

I havent tested battery life as far as screen on times yet but I was out this afternoon after a full charge and its currently down to 99% after 7 hours!

The one thing that is a bit mad about this tablet is how long it takes to charge. It may have a massive 9000mAh battery to cope with it all, and a 2a charger, but it takes forever. Seriously slow at charging in my experience so far.

Mine takes about five and a bit hours. I just charge it overnight.
