Nexus 7 launch was pretty shocking, some people who preordered weeks in advance (myself included) got their tablets a couple of weeks after those who simply bought on release.
Quality control issues meant Google were inundated with returns and they just didn't have the resources to cope.
My refund took 2.5 months to process. I'm a glutton for punishment though so I'll be ordering the nexus 4 & 10 through them

Given that you won't have seen it in the flesh, I think this comment could be premature.....
I think they'll be released on the 13th and there won't be any pre-ordering.

True but from the shots i've seen i prefer the overall look of the Nexus 7, if they'd got Asus to make a 10 inch version i'd be buying one straight away.
I'm not the hipster type with a fashion beard and tweed jacket so can't give you an answer on that front

Well, I guess I will need to wait and see what happens on the 13th. I am not desperately in a rush so I can wait and see what fates throws me.
I'd be surprised if they sell a load on N10's - It will need a large advertising campaign because hardly anyone know's about this thing and it doesn't have a wow price tag like the N7 did.
People who are ordering it - I'd expect you'd get it fairly easily without it being sold out.

i assume your just talking about the design being much smarter/cooler from samsung rather than the technical spec going up a notch again?
The design might look a bit better but the OS will have been samsungised.
The design will probably better and possibly the spec as well. CES is only two months away and I may just wait as I'm in no hurry to replace my Galaxy Tab but come the 13th I may just hit the buy button.
