*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

The article about the Nexus 10 refresh... I don't understand the "sluggish" type comments, it is literally the smoothest, most powerful tablet I have used.

These comments supposedly come from developers but developers should be aiming their applications and games to suit every device and the Nexus 10 is at the top of that gamut. I just couldn't agree that the Nexus 10 is sluggish compared to tablets like the Transformer Prime / Nexus 7 which are of average spec.

The number of pixels really isn't an issue, I've run benchmarks with N10, ONE X, N7 & TF201 side by side and even though the N10 pushes twice the pixels it outperforms them.

Don't get me wrong, this rumored tablet sounds like a monster... But even then how is it going to stack up against new offerings from samsung/asus and snapdragon/tegra?

Just got a micro hdmi lead to output the nexus to the TV. Should anyone hit the issue I did, be aware that when you plug the lead in for the first time it should just work, however if it doesn't then do a restart. Now running xbmc from it when I need to.

Just arranged for my nexus 10 to go back as I get massive interference through the headphone whilst charging or using an otg cable.

Ok well thats odd, got home from being away and found I had 1 more micro usb cable hanging around from an old Nokia phone, tried that and no interference while charging and watching a film.

OTG cable still does it when access data from a USB drive attached

No, its a cheapy from amazon, but then it does make noise when you transfer data from a PC using usb and have headphone plugged in.

I had 2 usb cables with me, one for my old blackberry and one for my Mifi dongle thing, both did the same thing. The Nokia cable does have interference when you transfer data from the PC but none when charging, unlike the other cables.

I get interference when charging and using headphones. They're Apple ones (maybe that's why).

It's OK if you're watching videos, but as soon as you start doing stuff - touching the screen, or it calculating other stuff - it makes a noise. Drops off within a few seconds, but still, you wouldn't get that on the iPad.

Something is wrong, checked mine last night and no noise at all.

The pre-auth should normally drop off after about a week... That said my 21 days for return was up about a month ago and I haven't been charged yet.

Do these have a 4GB file limit on them or am I remembering wrong as Airdroid just let me drop a 6.5GB file on mine, and I'm sure that the Android file app wouldn't let me do that.
