*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I'm still being tempted by the Nexus 10, but can never find the 32Gb in stock. Since it doesn't have any SD slots, what alternatives are there? You can get a fancy cable and plug flash drives into it, can't you? How cumbersome does this make them? I'm after a nice fast 10" tablet that I can fill up with TV shows so I can watch them on the go and while at lunch, but if I could only get a couple of shows on at a time, I could see that being a real hassle.

OTG cable costs like £2.50 and I can plug my flash drives in there. Great for music/photos can't use it for apps I don't think.

Think you need some software too...

If you can wait the Xperia Z Tablet looks tasty. Only worth it if its 399 or under imo.

I'm getting quite annoyed with the frequency of the crashes on this tablet now.

Every time I go on Chrome it crashes the tablet and I have to hold the power button down restart the it...

Are Google just taking their sweet time to fix the problems with this tab? :(

Use a better browser :p

I've been using Firefox beta since November and only once has it crashed to the point of needing to restart the whole tablet. Only crashes that I often get are literally Firefox closing and having to be reopened, and it's usually when there is lots of flash objects on the page.
 
Yup, chrome doesn't seem stable on this tab, had a few lockups.
Also finding splashtop pretty unstable.
Other than that pretty rock solid :)
 
Just been woken up by mine pulsing the screen white, power button did nothing so I had to hold it down to force it off.

Really strange, has anyone else had this happen? There's no Apps installed that would cause this.

Just got mine , fantastic bit of kit , bit miffed about sky go not working (should have looked it up) , was sweating a bit when it arrived though as i told the missus it was only 200 quid and she had it opened when i came home from work (luckily the invoice doesnt have the price on).
Not keen on chrome though will persevere with it for a while to see if it grows on me.

tutut! best hope she doesnt open any of your statements ;)

Regarding sky go, I think it will probably come for the 10, iirc its available on the 7? Same for the likes of the samsung tab and note series, its going to be the unknown rebranded chinese ones that probably wont get it its just a matter of when
 
I have rooted my device and everything but how do I install flash player and what browser do you guys reccomend?

Sick of going to a few sites such as firstrowsports etc then not being able to play anything :@
