i don't see the n5 leak as a hiccup. i find it too coincidental that it was done on the same day as win8 update to win8.1, almost as though they wanted everyone talking about android and not windows...

I've been using an iPhone 4 now for a couple of years and I'm so bored of how slow it is. Even simple tasks are painful because the device is just so slow, even more so since iOS 7 came out. I think the Nexus 5 looks perfect for me, so I hope it gets released soon

Erm it is slow compared to the standard of today. iOS updates have bogged the feeble resources too. iOS 7 needs faster hardware and the longer animation show up any lack of grunt.

Things seem to be better with the N7 this year, and they are really working the hype engine so one would hope this means there preparing for more interesting.

That looks like one of Google's events which update where they are at and going so I doubt whether a launch will come at that.

i just had someone on the phone asking me if i wanted a renew my contract, and i said that i want the Nexus 5 when it comes out. And she said that ill be able to pick it up from there store from the 9th of November if i want to renew. If this is fact i don't know.

It was slow before the update, but the update has made it worse. Most of the slowness is third part apps to be fair (Whatsapp and Instagram in particular), but the device can be very slow in general.
