Here's my Android 5.0 annoyances:

• Power button just does power. Why take Airplane mode etc away?
• Notification centre is a lot worse than what it was. Swiping down twice is not as fluid as swiping once and pressing the 'flip' as it was in 4.
• Overall I think 4 looks cleaner.
• Sometimes it feels a little laggy whereas 4 always felt sharp and very responsive.
• The recent apps button now stacks like cards, while this looks good, it was far more functional and user friendly in 4.

There's more I'm sure. I'm tempted to try Cyanogen and some other ROMs on my X+1 when it arrives.

agree that's why I'm back to 4.4.4 for now while LP gets ironed out

i just replaced my bezel and screen, it is easy to replace the usb port. however i would say you are in warranty for that

where did you purchase from?

where did you get your screen from? I need a new one after messing mine up when I rode over it

12% battery now. Its not going to last my commute home

How easy is it to go back to KitKat?

stock? or rooted etc? if it's rooted with custom recovery then just get the rom you want and install.. that's it that's what I've done after playing around with LP..

I'll give it time to "Grow up" and google to iron out the crap but yes, it is buggy imo.

urgh.. dropped my nexus in the water ripped the back-cover off, turned it off and dropped in the rice for asians to come over the night and fix it - no offense!

well after the swim my n5 is back and working.. surprised.. only a little mark on the top of the screen which is slowly going away! ha!

so... over the year, without a case and screen protector -;

5 drops on concrete
1 drop out of the pocked when cycling and then I ran over it with my back wheel...
1 swim in the bath
3 drops in the gym from 1m+ when doing pull-ups.

it's beaten up to bits but it's still going.. lucky eh!

You sound like an insures nightmare.

do I? first phone to get that much damage I look after my stuff, simply been very unlucky with my N5 - it's not even insured for that matter.

I'd love to replace my n5 with something new but I just can't find anything that I like 5.5" screens are a no go for me and I won't be carrying a huge bum phone in my pocket! And sadly, every maker thinks that 5'5"+ is the perfect size! Grrrr

I just drop mine on the wireless charging plate when at work etc.. this way I seem to pull through the day! weekends tho and It's dead before 8! :|

So the new battery didnt help. So far I have:

- Factory restored.
- Replaced charging dock PCB
- Tried 3 batteries.
- Tried 3 AC units
- tried a handful of USB cables.

Ive yet to try a QI charger.
Anyone got a smashed Nexus 5 they are willing to sell for parts? Im thinking maybe the motherboard is at fault now.

try dumping a new ROM on it might be something dumb kernel related that limits the charge
