no it looks fine, it hugs the N5 just as good as the google case, but feels better in the hand and with the grips on the side which make it feel safer in the hand to be fair. the google case has a soft rubber feel but always felt slippery in the hand

as for putting it in a 99p case, I have had my HTC in the same type of case and it protected it just fine and after 3 years the HTC still looks like a new phone and has been dropped a few time with no affect on it.

I installed it last night and I currently have 40% remaining that includes all the usual use I do daily. Whatever they released on 4.4.3 which killed the battery is working very well now.

Not had any damage here I have the neo hybrid and the slim armor and its fine.

Anything will damage something if it comes in contact with something and is causing friction, just depends how careful you are.

I've got the red one.... it's stained my black N5 orange on the back and around the edges, similar to the N7 link I posted earlier in this thread.

I'd say the black one would probably be fine, but the coloured ones seem to bleed into the phone's shell!

In terms of protection, mine saved the phone when I dropped it recently, bouncing it along the deck.
