*** Nexus 7 2nd Gen thread ***

I expect it to be slower and jerkier than the ipad 3 that it will be replacing purely on the basis is safari is very well optimised for ios and chrome is very poorly optimised on android. But thats just one factor of the mutitude of uses:p

There's loads of browsers on Android.

Chrome beta is very fast and smooth on the Nexus 7.

Recent updates have made it much better.

CM 10.2 and gapps installed :D What a lovely OS the team has made again. Now running CM on my HTC Desire (love that phone) and now this.

I sadly have too much work to do, but will start to properly play round with it later.

Also, setup my phone to be a wireless hotspot when out and about. Worked flawlessly :D Got to love the Three network.

Any stability issues or features that aren't working properly mate? I'm a big fan of 10.1, but the nightly builds are a bit varied in their stability on the SGS2, although my current one is rock solid

It's running perfectly so far mate. No issues.

But I have only been using it for no more than a couple of hours since installing CM 10.2. But I much prefer it over stock already.

The only thing I don't like, the screen protectors I bought, when it's fitted, it's an absolute magnet for greasy fingerprints. My fingers are dry yet the slightest touch and it's chip pan style.

hehe just picked one up of high street, oh my lord :D she is pretty its my first android device so just getting use to the workings of it but am very impressed so far

Mine just arrived 10 minutes ago from Tesco. Even though the website says its still in the warehouse awaiting dispatch.

It was almost not delivered by a company called Ipost? My car in the drive, windows open, fiance in the front window doing some washing, me sat 8ft from the door in full view.... and he just puts a card straight through. Fiance saw it, ran out, asked him what he was playing at so he gave her the parcel.

Its now charging in the corner and I can't wait to start it up. Using the mofi case from my first gen nexus 7 whilst my new cases arrive.

That makes my blood boil.

Put a complaint in mate.

It comes with some juice in it, start playing with the N7 now!!!!

I'm still tinkering with in depth custom options for home page and bits like that. I have work to do though...

I have it out of the case (£0.01 one) and it feels perfect. I really am thinking about splashing out for the official case as I hear it keeps with the original feel and shape. The leather (lol...) one I have adds too much bulk.
