Those have all been known about, and left un-added since day one :) Wireless N appeared in the newest source kernels a month back, and the FM radio works..... sort of, on the Desire (By work I mean it has one and can tune to stations, but not play any found) Both of those will be nice to have officially though :)

Is anyone else slightly concerned by the Wildfire? It looks so similar. I can see it now "Oh I see you have one of those cheap Wildfires" "Er, no, these cost £400" "Then you got ripped off!" *sighs* :p

Well the moment you guys get 2.2 on your Wildfire phones I'll be on the lok out for a port!

Have you seen the Wildfire specs - They make my inner geek cry :(

The Legend I love, just because of the design, but what redeeming features does the Wildfire have? Its £20 upfront on 24 Month £20p/m T Mobile contracts too, so its not even that cheap

my iphone headphones decided to work today... after not working the other day. the button now works as it did in the iphone (push to mute, double push to skip track) :D!

just needs a bit more low end and i'll be in heaven.

Thats cool, I might look at getting those inline remotes that are designed so you can use good headphones with shuffles :p then I'll be laughing

i should have said, im using some Sennheiser MM50 iP Headset for iPhone :) Nomnom bass :D
only surprised me due to them not working the other day xD

And the URL has been figured out

To update you must be using the Nexus One!

1) Download here
2) Flash back to stock, including stock recovery
3) Put file on SD card and name it update.zip
4) Power off
5) Press power and trackball at the same time, an Android with an ! next to it will appear
6) Press vol up and power together
7) Select flash update.zip
8) Enjoy

I have done this and am now enjoying Froyo

Done this too, and it works, flashing back to stock recovery and ROM is a pain though :(

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

What guide is everyone using to revert back to stock?

Just came across this guide over at XDA?

Managed to revert to stock settings succesfully from cyanogenmod on Nexus One EPE54B device.

1. Downloaded the appropiate zip here:
shipped-roms.com/shipped/Passion%20(Nexus%20One) (I can't post links, so c/p ***)

2. Renamed it to PASSIMG.zip

3. Placed it in SD card root dir

4. Booted into AmonRa recovery and wiped everything

5. Booted phone into hboot (vol down + power)

6. Waited + yes

7. Done

Worked for me - I take no responsibility if it doesn't for you

Now, patience...

I haven't found any so far, most seem to be running even faster :) (Root-requiring apps aside obviously)

EDIT: Having rooted 2.2 (Cheers Cyan :D ) I can confirm all of the root apps I've tried work too :D

This is NOT the method I used (I rolled back to stock everything awaiting the OTA then flashed the OTA manually) This seems better and simpler, as you should be able to flash it via any custom recovery, but you'll need to backup (Just in case) and wipe your current ROM first :)

I got 2.2 on my nexus coming away from the sense desire port.

Sense starts to take its toll after a few weeks. At first its cool but then you see its flaws and the resources it takes up. Dissapointed in flash 2bh but the phone does seem a lot snappier on 2.2 but it could just be a placebo. The 3d gallery loads a ton quicker.

I used pauls Custom 2.2 Rom. Also does anyone have any good recommendations for an air vent mount for the car? I like to have one that can swivel. I DO NOT want a windscreen mount

I don't think it was a placebo - It felt at least a match for 5.0.7 Test 2, and that says a lot :) Haven't tried iPlayer yet, haven't been anywhere near a properly functioning WiFi zone :( Safe to safe it doesn't work on 3G (Especially when T-Mob throttle you to 360KB/s :( )

As for the car dock, try braving the Desire thread? :p

Should also add that in general i get 3G or at least normal g in most areas with virgin were as my mates iphone on 02 seriously struggles.

Now my problem with Virgin (uses t-mob network) is that i basicaly have no phone signal in my house. I knew it was the phone becuase i got signal from an old N70. I get 2 bars with the new radio so its all good.

Still chuffed how my deal came about. Found a good contract with virgin for the HTC HD2

Unlimited SMS
Unlimited data (FUP)
700 mins
18 months (wanted to avoid 24 months at all costs)
£25 per month :D

and i had to give only £60 for the phone ( think i got £30 cash back via quidco)

Sold the HTC HD2 for £400 unlocked and bought my nexus early January screw wating around for the UK launch or the desire :D i have been enjoying it for almost 6 months with a great monthly cost contract
