I am really tempted to get a nexus one, my nokia 5800 is really starting to grate on me..

Iave been really tempted at buying from google directly, the 529 dollars comes out at around 350ish, plus taxes and whatnots i guess.

Regarding the docks, you don't have the buy them direct from Google because they're an accessory. Webstores that stock HTC stuff are selling them, just non in stock yet.

Just bought mine directly from google with Dock and Car Dock. Credit Card company had to be phoned though as they blocked the order. Came to a total of £470 I think.

Now I just need to pick up a new contract and phone and then sell the phone to pay for the N1 lol!

When you have an active WiFi connection, and the phone goes into standby is the connection meant to be auto re-established once you resume+unlock?

I have the problem that it doesn't reconnect to the network when it comes out of standby.

and google wont be doing them on their store soon (i think) only via contracts (so vodaphone in uk)

Just signed up to MoDaCo online kitchen, only £10 a year and downloading the new MCR R16 for Nexus One with Online Kitchen - FRF50 Froyo with Trackball Alert support + more atm.

Yikes. Not sure its worth £100/£150 more than the Desire, as nice as the light up trackball would be.

Will keep an eye on eBay for bargains anyway you never know.

seen a few on av forum go for 330+, so its if you wanna wait for a bargain and jump or get one asap

i got one due to its uniqness compared to a desire, and i sold my iphone for it so it cost about 30quid.
