NFS Carbon demo out!

I actually enjoyed NFSU:2, and the MW demo was fun with the police chases, but this...

It's just plain awful.
The drift race was just ridiculously easy, even more so than in the Underground games, and the canyon race was poor.

I quite liked it until i got to the canyon stage. I HATE stupid challenges like that. As soon as i started racing i knew i was gonna hate it.

The canyon stage has put me right off :( .

Edit: Hasnt anyone figured out how to race as the other cars that are in the demo yet? The NFS:MW demo had some cars that were *ahem* 'unlockable' .

The drifting is hideously un-natural, the handling is so toy town it's not even arcade and meh.......such a waste.

It really is a ****-poor cash in on F&F 3. Really disappointed.

Was impressed by the 'mould' car design, then I realised it was a pretty cheap trick to have to avoid designing lots of bodykits.

Oh well :(

I noticed that the game counter steers the drift for you  .

There was one upside to the game . It actually ran better then MFS:MW for me and im using xp2000 512ram 4800ti. That was with all settings low and 1024x1024.

Iv got one word to some up this game. SAME!!! Also i think it looks worse graphicly than MW. I downloaded the demo and me and a mate just laughed at how rubbish it was.

The game sucks period. The drift? What in the flying monkey is that all about, it's like you have no control over the car what so ever. The game so shiny too, ontop of all that, I hate it.

Only thing I quite like is the Autosculpt. No way EA can fix this in time for release.

D'oh, wont run here either. Are all you guys in the 'I Hate EA' fanclub or is this game really that bad?

I liked it but one thing i didn't like was drift mode, I mean the car is uncontrollable when in 1st/2nd gear! If you keep the car above 85 in 3rd or 4th, drifting is a lot smoother. I managed to drift a whole lap in the muscle car. Another thing I like about it is the new styling system and the availability of muscle cars!
