NHL 14-15 season

This series is so close - every game decided by only 1 goal and either team could have won any of the 4 games so far. 2-2 is fair so it's down to a best of 3 now.

Huge game for Lightning at home, possibly without Bishop.

20 year old rookie goaltender in a final against the Hawks - he did well away and was unlucky on both goals really so if he can perform like that again and Tampa's offence gets going they have every chance.

I think the offence will come out next game and put a few past Crawford this time

Another close game and narrow win for the 'Hawks away from home with next game played at the United Center. You could argue Lightning have been the better team but Blackhawks have the experience to get results and next game is going to be huge but they know how to handle expectations.

No sure thing in this series though so see if this goes to game 7 or not.

I think in all, well deserved. Both teams were hungry for it but I knew the hawks were gonna get it. They were playing some very interesting set pieces. That Kane to Towes cross crease off Towes' stick shaft was amazing. It wasn't even a goal.but was one of the standout plays of the season for me.

Towes handing the cup straight to Timonen as well. Such sportsmanship. As a flyers fan, it was perfect for me.

Kimo will always be a flyer to me, seeing Coburn go straight over to.congratulate him was a real moment for me.

Kudos to Hextall for having the vision to trade him so he got that opportunity this season. Certainly paid off.

Congrats Hawks - I may not like it but you can't deny that they deserved it.
Lightning very unfortunate to have key injuries to Bishop and Johnson but that's just how it is and it may have allowed a 7th game but Hawks would have still won it IMO.

To be honest, Preds should have knocked them out in Round 1, but since then the Hawks have been a lot better.
3 cups in 6 years is impressive in this cap era and against such good opposition but here's to hoping another central team can finally step up next season (yeah....lol)

Now...roll on next season!

I know it's technically next season talk but happy with some of the Caps deals so far, Williams and Oshie was more than I was expecting them to do!

Just been reading about that - Oshie is a great guy and very consistent but he and a few other Blues always crumbled come playoff time for some reason.
I thought overall they just didn't all gel enough when it mattered and when they had to adjust more on the fly during games/series.

Hopefully he is a better fit with the Caps as he's certainly a good player.

Overall, don't think this trade ads anything to the Blues but it's at least a start to changing things up because that's what they need more than anything. get rid of some of the core players and just try to create a more adaptable team.

Having watched some Caps games though, I think Oshie will fit in nicely with you guys

I'm pleased they signed Lehtera though - seemed to go under the radar in the media but as someone who watches almost every Blues game he was one of our best players IMO

Expensive contract but deff think he's worth it. This season was not just a fluke - not only has he got the skill, and can score but he also just gets on with the game and gels well with quite a few other players so having him on a long-term deal allows them to build around the core group and hopefully get a cup winning team in the next few years...

Plus he's just a joy to watch so I'm happy i'll be watching him 80+ times a season.
