I know I have asked before but who here watches NHL?

What is the best way in the UK to watch NHL?

I have VM so can not get PremierSports :(

I was looking at NHL Gamecenter but with blackouts due to PremierSports I will most likely miss most of the games I would want to watch.

Also you have to ring up the US to cancel NHL GameCenter?!?!?

EDIT: Please note that i am looking for a legal way to watch the games!

It was a nightmare trying to get it last season in the UK, but now I'm here I have several games to choose from plus CHL games.

I know one of my friends back in the UK uses http://www4.hockeystreams.com/
Hmm, this isn't remotely legit, so whats to stop them taking the money and running, or getting a cease and desist? I realise they're not hosted in the US but if they lent heavily enough you'd have no recourse to get your money back.

I ended up getting the NHL gamecentre (on offer for the short season) and it is amazing. Got it on an apple tv 3 so getting full HD and it holds all the games so if its a 3am game I can watch it the next day or in the week at a more convenient time.

Gamecenter is the best way, and there are easy ways round the blackouts if they do affect you.

As above it's great, using the PS3 app gives me full hd (and recently updated to 60fps) the quality is amazing.

General routine is watch the previous nights game the next evening so I don't fall behind seeing as the games are pretty much every other day!

IOS app is also great, can watch the games on the iPad when I'm away and the wife even sits and watches them on her lunchbreak on her iPhone.

We'd be lost without it as both pretty big hockey fans, well worth the money for us.

Sat watching last nights Caps game at the moment, and will catch up on tonights tomorrow or Sunday :)

Not really, Gamecenter was available last season here and did the job well for us.

I usually use a streaming website which is free but just has lots of adds that you have to close not going to mention the site as i'm not sure if its against the T&C's but a good Google search could find it

Thing is, with my internet speeds in the UK, streaming was not really an option. So had to get it through sky.

Although I have got NHL vault access for free for this season as a sorry for the lockout and cable internet out in the boonies.

As an aside, I hadn't even looked at the website before as my connection couldn't handle it, so sorry if it's not allowed.

A normal full season including playoffs was $160 before the lockout, cheaper this year with the condensed season (and so as to not annoy people any further ;) ). Then at around halfway through the season they knock the price down to half.

Even at full price personally it's fantastic value for the amount of time we spend watching games, at least 3 or 4 a week, so probably averages $2 a game or something silly.

I'd imagine with premier sports able to show 15 games a week the playoffs will have quite a bit blacked out, but as said previously there are very easy ways round that.

With free Gamcenter app you don't get the full length game replays, it'll either be the 3 minute highlights or the 10 min condensed versions.
