NHS Body Map Genitals Or No Genitals?

£10 bet the group complaining are something to do with religion.
I'll see your £10 and raise £100. That no one has complained. It some middle age women. Who thinks it may offend some group. But in fact it doesn't offend anyone. But she thinks it's her right to complain on other peoples behalf.

They shouldn't show it. Showing it would raise too many awkward questions for parents to answer and take away childrens innocence...

Errrrr, right so um how old where you before you realised women didn't have penises?

If i was a parent I'd be more concerned about this than my kid asking questions that make me feel a little awkward..

And would the boy looking at the picture and seeing its different to what he has down there raise even worse questions?

Do me a favour. My 18 month old daughter routinely barges into the bathroom when I'm having a shower and points at my penis. She does the same when I'm having a wee and can't close the door if I'm the only one in. She also pokes her girly bits, which I imagine I'll have to keep in check when she figures out that it feels good, which I gather can sometimes happen quite early.

My friend's daughter, who's about 4, asked if my daughter had a willy. She's seen her baby brother being changed and has obviously asked her parents about it, and in her head my daughter is more similar to a baby boy by virtue of size than to her by virtue of sex.

My point being... Kids will figure these things out, and shielding them from a medical diagram is really not going to stop that. Come to that, why would you even want to?

Because if a 3 year old girl knows what a penis is she's going to have sex, undermine marriage, go on benefits and smuggle immigrants into the country whilst taking smack by the time she's 5.

My reply was

"I support a fully detailed body map

really can't understand this, they show this in text books for 12 year olds.

The person who thought of this needs a slap."

Good to see that the people running IT in the NHS are incapable of setting up an online poll, instead resorting to counting the amount of items in an Outlook mailbox to decide a winner.

Its all these idiots hiring people who've done a computeach (no disrespect) IT course in six weeks and because of their "dynamic" and "synergistic" personalities are hired above the skilled IT guys, and wind up creating stupid systems that explode, can't do online polls, and posts the nation's passport information to cuba.
