NHS Letter Template

The letter head will be easy to fake, since it'll be sent from your local NHS Trust and not a central board so everyone would be slightly different. The hard bit is the main letter content, you'll have to make it sound real without going ott.

Well my attempts on word are failing me big time and the ones on google images aren't clear enough :(

I just thought, what if the guy gets the letter, almost dies of fear and shock, then gets told its a joke, has a laugh with his mates and says things like "you little rascals"

Then....hospital rings for real this time

"Is this <name here> speaking, we've just had your results in, could you come in for a talk please"

The guy is gonna be crushed :( You'll kill your mate either way

Firstly, are you saying you all went for a test for HIV without receiving counselling first and informed of the the possible ramifications of the blood test.

Secondly, if a person was to be found to be positive for HIV they would be informed personally by a medical practitioner in a face to face session.

Thirdly, Headed NHS documentation templates are protected documents so are not freely available (for obvious reasons) and vary from Trust to Trust, PCT's, Clinics and GP Surgeries.

Finally, It isn't actually a funny joke. We process a couple of hundred blood specimens a week directly requesting testing for HIV, even 12 years into this job I still find it sad on the rare occasion one comes up positive.

Does anyone know where I can find an exact copy of an NHS letter template?

Playing a prank telling my friend he's got AIDs as he went for a test the other day :D

Cheers.

sure no problem. could you send me your NAME and ADDRESS i'll be sure to send it.......along with mr policeman to cart you off to prison for fraud :p

tbh im undecided whether this is shockingly bad taste  or whether its a good un :D

for AIDS its over the line dude..... STI maybes ok.

If you tested positive for something like that you wouldn't get a letter saying so anyway. Even if he did fall for it, seriously unfunny prank.

Nobody has any ideas or can scan one in please?

I'll report back to tell you if i'm still alive when he finds out :p

you realize you're asking us to help you break the law

*whistles*

you could probably rig up a fake one easily enuff through the power of google (i doubt whether your friend would be able to tell at first glance that its fake) not that im advocating anything of the kind.

Reading the original post did raise a smile, but actually it does seem a bit harsh. It's the sort of thing you read about - "Practical joke goes horribly wrong".

Telling him he's pregnant would be much funnier, as long as the letter looks 100% authentic. :p
