Secondly, if a person was to be found to be positive for HIV they would be informed personally by a medical practitioner in a face to face session.

Finally, It isn't actually a funny joke. We process a couple of hundred blood specimens a week directly requesting testing for HIV, even 12 years into this job I still find it sad on the rare occasion one comes up positive.
