Took a punt on the fresh sample bundle...
  • Classic Citrus & Herb - With Similar Fragrant Notes to Dior Sauvage
  • Italian Bergamot & Ambergris - With Similar Fragrant Notes to Creed Aventus
  • Victorious - With Similar Fragrant Notes to Paco Rabanne Invictus
  • Peppermint Leaves - With Similar Fragrant Notes to Creed Green Irish Tweet
  • Orange Bergamot - With Similar Fragrant Notes to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino

I like the original fragrances of them all, apart from the Invictus so figured why not...

Autumn, winter... Creed - Royal Oud, it's good stuff. However, it's so expensive I usually just by a couple of decants of 'the bay'.

I tried this whilst out in dubai. The most popular with locals was ombre nomade by LV. Also highly recommended was amouage reflection 45 man. The longevity on both is insane. If the locals are buying it I can see why.

Well in a not so shocking twist of events they are exactly as I suspected. Below average!

I wasn't expecting much so wasn't too disappointed, but the Instaspam was too much to resist. They all smell kind of like the fragrance they are copying, but they're not that close and they smell like they're made from cheap ingredients, longevity is average at best too.

Standard cheap crap as usual, nothing beats the OGs.

Finally cool enough to wear red tobacco. This stuff is insanely strong. One spray is enough ! A lot of people don’t get on with it. But I love it!

Edit. A few places I’ve ordered from and get great service for anyone looking to buy. (Got a good price on a few nishane from seescents recently)

Not sure about the 'not much money' part though, buying samples isn't the cheapest way to do it, but it does mean you get the opportunity to try before you buy a full bottle.

Maybe a reformulation is coming.

hopefully not, got a response from there website CS that they are trying to source but due to supply conditions it is delayed. The spray cards I had from a month ago of LV ombre nomade and the Creed Royal oud from Dubai is still going strong. That's insane longevity...

Haven’t bought anything in a while…

Am waiting for Cedrat Boise Intense to turn up in the post !

And picked up a 50ml of Gucci Guilty Absolute, because why not. It’s extremely good leather fragrance ! (Paid £52)
