So Hardcore/Rave?
Also, I'm jealous. How much did they set you back?

Yeah, hardcore/rave.

Don't hate me but they cost me nothing except a few months of working saturday nights in a pub as a DJ. The guy I worked with got ridiculous discounts on Pioneer stuff so I ended up with his old CDJs and a DJM-800 when he replaced them with CDJ-1000s. Going by the wage he was paying me up to that point, it worked out about £280. :D

Well, if you ever want to sell them... :p

I've been looking at the Numark NDX series. They look quite nice!

That always tasted funny to me, maybe it was my mindset at the time :p lol.

By that time I don't care about the taste ;)

Yeah fine now :p. Having a good night so far?

If anything, I cared more, not because I was worried, but more cause I was out of it :p.

As long as the music is good I don't care about anything else.

Unless I'm DJing. Then I REALLY need water.

Zero Pope, have you heard much about the Numark NDX series? I can't find many reviews of them.

Slightly uneventful - highlight thus far is being comprehensively trolled by a moth who must have known I'm terrified of them :(

would try going to sleep but it'll be a pointless exercise so I'm whiling the night away on a few forums :)

Fair one. I've given up on trying to get early nights, because as soon as I get into bed, I wake up. So can't even be bothered any more. Up early tomorrow, so I'll get maybe 3 hours sleep tonight lol.

Monday will be awful though, back in work after 3 months off :(.

Ouch, 3 months? I have a month off starting Tuesday thanks to carpal tunnel decompression, I went mad form boredom last time. How have you coped with it if you don't mind me asking?

Well, I've been off on leave, no medical conditions or anything. Coped by doing different things. Been to Las Vegas for a week, south of France for a week, and Germany for a week, and also to London a few times. Spent a lot of the first month on my motorbike, which is now waiting for me in Germany. Also got back into my simulators, namely X-Plane, and also just being a general geek, playing with Raspberry Pi, my server, and my XBox. Also going out and having a few drinks when I'm able.

If I was stuck home, I think I'd have gone mad with boredom too, thankfully, that wasn't the case.

 3 months

Work sometimes is the only thing that keeps me sane, I know I'll be having a fair bit of time off over the next 18 months or so but there'll be things to keep me occupied.

I'm ok sleeping when I know I'm working but any other time my mind just won't switch off and let me rest

I've just had a look a those Numark ones, they do look pretty good, especially for the price. And I do have a bit of a soft spot for Numark stuff.

Same. It's such good value.

I've found a deal for two NDX-400s and a M1USB for 420 quid. Which is pretty decent. That's all I would need for practising with CDJs I think?

Get into DJing? :p:p:p:p

I've got a Korg Electribe MX-SD and a Korg Kaossilator Pro which I enjoy playing around with :p. Just need to dig out my Midi Keyboard and get all that set-up again lol.

-.-

I'm thinking of getting another M-Audio Keyboard. I used to have an Oxygen 61, but it was too big to carry to uni. I'll probably get the axiom 25 or something.

What software do you use?

(For me it's Reason for producing, Traktor for DDJing.)

And some CDs. :D

That's a cracking deal. I really wish I had more space I'd love to have my turntables and cdjs set up again.

I think mine is an E-MU X board 25, so nice and small. Not used it in ages though!

I usually used Reason, but I never really got as far as producing anything good. I'm more of a tech hoarder lol.
Never did much DJ-ing or anything, usually just played around with synth loops and drum machines.
