Night Owls

Bandaged up with some serious lotions underneath them, and whilst the itching that kept me awake before has subsided by about 70% I just cannot sleep when wrapped up like Lon Chaney, Jr.

On the plus side, iid mean I didn't have to spend much on a Halloween outfit. :D

Setting up a PC to be used for an important presentation with a projector tomorrow trying to make it as idiot proof as possible (extended display, notes and resources on one screen, presentation on other). All set up ready to go, gave it another run tonight just to make sure it's working fine... windows update. Projector will now only display 640*480 and not 1080p as before.

3 hours of removing updates, changing drivers, trying different external hardware. Microsoft tech support replies back with "reinstall windows". 3 Hours left before this PC is supposed to be shipped out and I don't think I can get away with having a sleep at work today.

After 10+ years of doing nights now im really starting to feel the negatives of doing night shift work health wise as im getting older.

Sure the extra money we get paid for doing nights is nice,But at the cost of health & lack of social life..im not so sure anymore.

me thinks its time to start looking for a day job! :/

trying to get my head into either looking for a new job, actually learning a programming language properly or developing one of my many ideas.

It's going slowly but the tiredness is catching up with me.

My dog is nearly 16, lots of things wrong with him which are associated with old age and he's on 3 lots of tablets.

Woke up in bed realising I'd not heard a peep from him since 9.30 when he was taken outside and lying in bed I convinced myself he'd popped his little clogs.

Just went into the front room and he's peacefully asleep on his chair :)

My mind is all over the place now, I was even thinking about where he was going to be buried in the garden :(
