Just read this article, i have yet to see a single black squirrel locally to be honest ive never heard of them :eek:

considering they are owning the grey

Never seen them before. I think this will be bad for squirrel PR - the red squirrels were cute, the gray ones less so - the black ones look like rats. People don't find rats cute.

dont joke about white ones as they are real

my mate got a black one with his air rifle about a week ago needed 2 head shots to kill it and thats with a pcp (air arms s410) the skull on the black ones is suppose to be thicker and more dense than red which is bad news as there a ***** to kill

Red squirrels are cute.

Black squirrels look like fierce buggers, I love how in the article they're all about 'mutation' 'fierce' 'testosterone' and all this for a squirrel, and the grey females prefer these 'uns. Bloody Racist.
