Nintendo will pull a Nintendo on us - so I'm staying away from making predictions on NX right now.
Only thing I ask is that they put enough power inside to bring third party developers to the table.
One interesting point is the BC issue - if Nintendo move away from PowerPC architecture then how do the address BC? Streaming a solution? Nintendo have a history of including backwards compatibility so they're going to find that tough to walk away from, plus BC on the NX will make the system twice as attractive, heck of a library to walk into if you've not owned anything Nintendo for a while.
