I wonder if anyone can offer advice?
My Switch has started behaving oddly. The battery % displayed on the screen will cycle through values, dropping from 100% to just a few in seconds, and sometimes jumping back up again. It will be giving warnings that it is low and about to switch off even when it's showing a high %.
After a bit of googling, I tried a hard reset (the whole 'hold down the power and both volume buttons even though they're too close together and this is impossible with your fat fingers' thing) but it didn't seem to make any difference. And now it's reached the point where even plugged in it is switching off before it gets to the main menu.
Is this as simple as needing to find a phone repair place and get them to fit a new battery? Anyone come across similar? What little I could find online suggested it wasn't a battery problem as such, but something to do with the monitoring of the battery. I can't help suspecting this was because I left it docked for a couple of months without use. Has being permanently on charge knackered it?
