No - 360 launch console RROD

I stripped mine down (took drives out etc) and put it in the oven on 180 for 10 mins :)

I am now using it for spares and as a novelty paper weight :o

My launch 360 died a year or so ago with E74 error.
My mate's PS3 got YLOD around the same time
And my Wii's 'Virtual Console' stopped working (just get artefacts) apparently due to a chip breaking inside.

Yet all my retro consoles are still working perfect (well, except the PS1 and PS2 but are these really retro yet?)

This generation was terrible for reliability, a trend which appears to be sneaking into all hardware not just consoles lately.

Well it's definitely faulty.

Suppose as my g/f bought it for me for £280 i think is just a bit annoying. But then lasting 5 years is not bad I suppose.

Good enough reason to get the new slim one just for wifi and HDMI though :)

Oh and I called M'soft and got the usual, £80 to repair. So at that price may as well buy a new one !
