no demo for call of duty modern wafare 2 !

I have pre-ordered it today, I thought cod4 mp was toilet, but sadly will have to buy mw 2 as all my clan are moving to it.

I actually really like Arma2 but due to my masters this year I really don't have the time to commit hours upon hours each evening to it.

MW2 will be pick up and play for 20 mins before more coursework :p COD died after COD2 for me. but there is nothing else new to play :(

I still play css for my quick 20 min fix of gaming.
 
Shame theres no Demo. But it will make MW2 extra tasty when it comes out next month :)
 
IW have had a reputation for releasing CODs mp all but perfect. Granted the game play has always been good but it always takes them 12+ months to fix major bugs. COD took 3 patches to integrate PB and then they released COD2 without PB after all the who-ar in COD. Mind boggles.
 
I'll get it anyway. Just as long as it's NOT set in WW2 (which is aint) and are available to buy on Steam which it should be anyway.
 
More importantly, will it be on Steam, and will it be at a reasonable price (£35)?

Having to buy a game on a physical disk and install all updates yourself is so 2001.
 
I hope its on steam. I don't like buying games unless its on steam. Just less fuss and better in the long run as I always miss place old games.

It seems to be quite a cool shop but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link.

Edit: It appears to have gone up by £1 since I've ordered it from there.
 
£34.99 for a pre-order!!! Thats a bit steep. What happened to the pre-order price of £24.99? Yep, Activision going off the success of 'Modern warfare' and lets make even more money!!!!!!
I'll see what it's like first me thinks.
 
Suppose ill snag this for sp, unless the multi's been changed drastically it'll be a waste of time. Reinstalled cod4 the other night and can't beleive how hilariously bad the mp is in that game, worse than i remembered. Still don't get why pc gamers like it so much, especially since holding in the mouse button to acheive simple kills from all sorta of ranges is such a viable tactic.
