No display

ok so i took the board out the case today and rebilt on the table still have the same problem i pulled the cpu and tried it in mine no display but also mine didnt work on the other board so im at a loss i tried one stick of ram in all 4 slots but made no diffrence i also tried my psu on his board made no diffrence also

Did your pc start up with the newer CPU giving the same symptoms ?

If yes that CPU needs sending back.

Your CPU in the newer motherboard not working indicates a faulty board.

Could be a case of the CPU taking out the motherboard as well as being faulty .


Last option is to flash the bios and test using the bios button on the back of the motherboard before sending that back also.

That is strange, because normally a faulty CPU would get stuck on the first post code LED, the red one that you sometimes see flash up, not the 2nd one which is yellow and refers to ram.

Or if you have a post code display on the board then 00 for a faulty CPU, 15 or C5 for ram.
