No DSS!

I have a vast amount of experience in the housing sector and can tell you that a depressingly large chunk of DSS properties I have seen have been trashed, are in the process of being trashed or are being squatted in.

There are the exceptions but people need to get real and appreciate that the risk to a landlord is truly massive - god I remember a house in Wimbledon where they bred dogs, smoked, took drugs and drank constantly (cans everywhere), argued all night, destroyed the back garden, trashed the front garden, went to the shops in their pyjamas and ultimately refused to leave until Merton rehoused them - the poor landlady was made sick by it all.
 
Like others have said, unfortunately there are at lot of people on DSS that don't care or look after the property they are in, and less people that do look after them, I would not take the risk
