No Fibre from Be this year

I would imagine its BT with their first 3 months for £20 then £26. Line rental is about £10 if paid yearly at £140ish

Just cancelled with BE myself, have 1 month!

Yup, this. Did the yearly line rental too.

Did it through Quidco as well, got an extra £50 cash back :D

What I dont understand is the need for a MAC, surely its co-ax to my house? Totally unrelated to whatever services I have over my phone line if so? Just seems like an unecessary step.

Ok lets summarise that.
We pay £10/month for the BT phone line. This is £120. (I was unaware that you could pay yearly...but hey ho).
Then you pay £26/month for the Broadband.

Have I got this correct?

I currently pay £14 to BT, for a phone-line I don't use for phone calls.

I have a B.T phone so have to pay line rental ..so to me B.T is really a no brainer :) just pay the £26 per month after 3 months :)

Yeah same with me Be are relly trying to keep as many customers as they can :) i was offered a months cut to £12 a month ! i know its great ,but its not Fibre lol
 
Fibre would be nice, but I'm pretty happy with my 23Mb sync @ £12 a month for BE Unlimited! Is fast enough for my usage and I don't suffer from any disconnections.

I also have their landline offering and couldn't be happier. They even sent me a new modem/router for free last year. Great company.

dont be too quick to praise the bt u ever had a problem with them try talking to their customer service its like pulling teeth
