No love for gaming at the moment :(

It sounds a bit more like you need to find a new group of people to game with than you need game suggestions. You seem to have plenty of things to play but the reason of nobody i know plays it is stopping you more than a few times.

By no means is this a dig, it happens. Like finding a new clan or guild, awful until you find a group you just seem to click into place with.
 
Oh I totally agree, there is about 10 guys I used to play online with regularly, I have not been on their mumble server for about a month now, as every time I go on, I go into chat, they are playing LoL... :(

Even when I try to talk about other games the conversation dies a short death as they are too busy playing lol.
 
I was getting a bit jaded again too, recently. There are only so many average games you can play in one lifetime, even if they only cost a couple of quid on Steam.

But then I bought Last of Us on the PS3 and realised why we keep playing games... there is still artistic and creative genius out there. It's just a shame some of that genius is exclusive to consoles... including what is now my favourite gaming experience of all time.
 
Sounds like me all my online mates are playing Lol like a bunch of addicts. :( And my steam library is dull. So I started to learn guitar instead much more fun. :)
 
Exactly the same here...it's all either LoL or DoTA 2. Unbelievable the hold those games seem to have on people!

One clan I know, used to play TF2, used to have regular gaming nights doing other stuff....now it's all DoTA2 DoTA2 DoTA2. Fortunately in my community only a handful of people have fallen to the addiction and we're still playing other games but I live in fear

It is sad, the last good memories I had was in Day Z with them. So much fun, but by 10pm, they all caved and wanted to play LoL. It was the last time we played a game together :(

Same as myself a few months ago.

Decided to try a few flight sims, found the Huey from DCS, relaxing and very entertaining.

DCS world is free and you get a su25 to fly, maybe give it a try ?
 
In the same boat as the op, switch on, look at a big lists of games that I've either half completed or just no longer interest me. Must have picked up and put back down a dozen games over the weekend, just can't find something that grabs me that I haven't already played to death.

Considering trying to snag a cheap ps3 and check out this last of us lark, check out the uncharted games while I'm at it. Worst case it becomes a netflix box :p

May give the fallout games another whirl, iirc I got around 15 hours into 3 on the pc and it just decided to stop working again ever.
 
I too am thinking of a cheap PS3... Sell my BR player and pick up a cheap PS3 this weekend. But the games, they are expensive. And I would rather not pay £40 for it.

Scour the second hand market for games, iirc the majority of AAA PS3 titles are lengthy single player games so you wouldn't have to worry about buying extra online passes etc...

Play the last of us over the weekend then trade it in you'll get most of your cash back on the game if you can bare to part with it that is, I think I'll be keeping my copy as I want to play through again quite soon on the harder difficulties.
 
By PC I meant PS3 lol.

Maybe, might borrow a PS3 from a mate, now to find one with one! Haha.

The Alpha scaled VERY well and it is only improving through Beta.

Sounds to me like maybe you just need to archive savegames when you stop playing a game :) I typically dislike replaying games sections as well so make sure if you stop playing a game that you think you might return to one day that you keep a copy of the save so you can start off there again. I've returned to some savegames after breaks of a couple of years or more (Halflife, GTA3, GTA:SA)

Cheap console is a fair idea, don't worry about the cost of games since you can just buy older games for like £15 or less (GT5, Uncharted 2 etc).
 
Try an MMO, WoW, Lord Of The Rings Online, Star Trek Online, DC Universe Online, Go to mmorpg.com and they have a MAHOOSIVE list including forums for each specific game, Reviews, Videos etc...
If you get into an MMO and get a good Guild/Group then you can have a really great time :)
 
I was feeling the same way - so I got a PS3 from ebay, along with the uncharted series and MGS. These games only cost about a fiver second hand.
