No Man's Sky

Pretty much standard thing - US gets a game on a Tuesday, EU on a Wednesday and us on a Friday - pretty much was the traditional release dates for games and still is - only really the really big AAAs that do same day worldwide releases...

So? There is no reason for it at all, plenty of games have simultaneous releases, no reason for it is there other than so called traditions.

Gaming isnt bigger than the established UK retail distribution network and No Man Sky isnt a game that is worth the additional cost/risk to get to market...

What? So how come the likes of Dark Souls 3 can do it? Talking rubbish, risk? what risk?

Dano I would go into it further but tbh I feel like Id be wasting my time. DS3 is a big AAA game - I said that before. Vast majority of games come out on regional variations.

Accept that as this whining is just silly

No, please do explain what risk? Perhaps you should understand that just because games usually come out on regional variations doesn't mean they cannot come out any when else. Just because I called you on a ridiculous comment doesn't make me a whiner, it's a discussion  AAA game or indy game, makes no difference. If you don't care to explain your comments it's because you're talking rubbish and can't back them up. I am more than willing to listen to reasoned arguments and change my viewpoint if evidence justifies, you saying you can't be bothered is a complete cop out.

TBH youve come over as an idiot with every reply, so I dont think I need to prove anything - why should I explain when seemingly you cant be reasoned with.

Yes I must be talking rubbish because somehow I have something to gain by giving you knowledge - its why I thinking Im wasting my time, you dont deserve it...

If you actually came over as someone that politely wanted to know I actually would have bothered like the countless replies Ive made on other subjects

They must have found something pretty game-breaking to delay the release. Or, maybe they're trying to make it more MMO like. :P - If it became like ESO in space with a proper story and lore, it would kick ass IMO.

At least within 2 months they could change the code so people spawn near each other on a few planets.

No Man's Sky is *not* a multiplayer game.

You can see planets/species that other players have named, but you can never fly around in the same space with another player.

A lot of people are going to be disappointed, with this.
As too many are focussed on finding other players.

It's a single player space exploration game!

Bit gutted by the delay, but it'll be worth it, when the game just works.

I'm under the impression this could happen, but when they say extremely rare, I think they mean extremely rare. As in, unlikely to happen to you.
To go in, expecting other player interaction, will be disappointment!
