Er no not really, it seems more like file planet and ign insider to me (as ive said) The Battlefield BC demo was available on PSN and XBLM market place last week for those who pre ordered. Most Betas are only available to only a select few members of GAP, so the ability to play betas that others wont is a plus to me even if it cost me a whole £2 ish.

demos are all free on live
might need to wait a week but free all the same
 
I think Sony will ask MS can they look at the figure for how much they have made of Xbox Live subs since the launch of the 360 and the profit margin.
