Hi just trying to finish putting W7 on pc after a reboot thought i'd install other drive for games etc which is same model as one for OP's.VelociRaptors.
Booted up and came back with missing op system! then unplugged them both stuck older drive back in which is vista and working etc.but still said same thing?
Only way it came back was after i'd played in bios to check what was showing etc? then it booted ok then replaced W7 drive and ok haven't put 2nd drive back yet.

Someone reckons you can't have more than one drive the same make/model etc connected as it makes it confused?
Main drive is on sata1 in bios

Go into the BIOS and make sure that the OS drive is 1st priority to boot in hard drive priority section. If the drives are the same model - you may need to try this twice to get the right one.

Also, check in the boot priority section that HDD is first (above DVD drive and floppy drive etc.).
