When I turned my PC on yesterday my Monitor Neovo HW-22 showed no signal.

So I took the card out and reseated it, changed the power connections and still no signal.
It works fine when I use the DVI to VGA adapter on the card and use the VGA cable to the Monitor.

The Monitor is 3 years old and the GTX 560TI 1.5 years old and the DVI connection worked fine all the time. I already ordered anew DVI cable.

Any ideas what is most likely the cause of the fault ?

Yea, if the card operates normally with the VGA (via DVI-I adapter) connection then most likely the DVI ports on the graphics card are fine. The problem then most likely resides in the DVI cable or the DVI end of the monitor.

As you have ordered a new DVI cable then hopefully that will be the issue (as that is the cheapest/easiest to solve).

To test if it's the monitor, do you have another PC/laptop with a DVI output or possibly a HDMI to DVI adapter/cable - so you can test a HDMI device (like a PS3, Xbox 360, blu ray player) on the digital connection of the monitor.

Thank you that put my mind at ease. I didn't think about trying to hook my ps3 up via DVI/HDMI, I'll have a look if i have an adapter somewhere.

Finally received my replacement DVI-D cable and still nothing...
So I now ordered a HDMI to DVI cable to thest the monitor with my playstation.

Finally got round trying the monitor with my PS3 and it works fine.

So I used a Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter that came with my GTX560TI and the new HDMI to DVI cable and it works!

Now I have no Idea why the DVI to DVI connection won't work anymore ?
