Exactly my story, my N95 8Gb was a fantastic handset.
One very big problem i found with my N95 8GB was the very slow transfer rates went transfering anything from my PC to mobile...

The 1/1.83 sensor on the N8 is actually pretty large - even compared to consumer cameras.

That was more a general observation about phones, not N8 specifically, however the comment still stands. :)

The 8GB variant smoothed out some design issues, had a larger battery, a larger screen, more RAM and 8GB onboard storage.

The N95 itself did itself improve significantly over its life thanks to several big firmware upgrades - battery life, gps and memory management being the primary improvements.

Ah, cool, so essentially it's the same case....:p

The N95 is one of those legendary phones that some people still use today because it was so good, like the SE K800i. Seriously, when the thing was out it was so far ahead of the competiton that it wasn't even funny. This n8 will probably have the best camera seen on a phone ever, but i think ultimately the operating system will let it down. It looks way to similar to S60 3rd/5th, and although they are powerful they're hardly optimised for touch.

Got a N95 8GB here. Love it to bits and still find many features I love and prevented me from rushing into a new smart phone. Sold my HD2 few weeks ago and still find my N95 8GB relatively capable in keeping me going until I upgrade to the Desire. I haven't been considering any newer highend nokia as they seems to be in a lot of mess

Not the only device that N WIFI...the new Blackberry Pearl 3G has N Wifi as well.

Looks nice though...but its all style no substance with Nokia.

I think both phones will be using Atheros chips to run the wifi. Blackberry is business, this looks more to be entertainment/media based, but OS6 definately looks to be aimed at the mass market / youth market with a lot of good integration. Over the next 6 months some good phones and OS's will be coming available.
My T-Mobile Pulse should be getting Android 2.1 soon, and then the E71 might be getting retired.

Will never, ever for the life of me - buy another Symbian powered phone ever again.

Such an ugly, cumbersome and boring OS.

As much I loved my N95, it had quite a bit I didn't like as well, battery life was awful, screen broke without even being dropped (it cracked whilst walking with it in my pocket, with no keys or anything else in with it), it froze up more than any other symbian phone I've owned.

Despite that I still miss mine :p

6150 was rather more sturdy, mine survived coming off on a motorbike and flying out of a car window with only a few small scratches :p

I have been very disappointrfeith nokia's phones since the N95 8GB which I loved and the sound on it was great although the battery life was a bit dissapointing.

I really do like the N8 looks great just hope the new symbian OS does it justice

If tis does not turn out to be good the only other phone to go for is the HTC desisre THAT'S IT! you can forget everything else...
