Nokia N80?

Still no official dates from O2 online / retail. I'm due an upgrade and this certainly looks to be the main contender. Feels like a step backwards going from an XDA IIi to this, but it looks very impressive. Losing the scribe would make web apps a bit weird at first, but that camera looks impressive (even without the auto focus).

Anyone managed to get hold of one yet?

Well I spend a little too much on phone calls due to the fact that my girlfriend likes me to call her (think I should start charging)

Then I called orange, but you have to do it a certain way...

When you hear the option "If you are thinking about leaving orange" blah blah blah...

Talked to a really nice guy on the phone, I said that I was thinking about leaving.... they have like a point score system or something like that at orange that says if you are worth keeping... and he bent over backwards to keep me at orange...

Only thing is that its going to take a week since they are releasing it in about a week or so... can't wait ;)

All good things come to those who wait I guess; this time last year I got myself a 3230 because I couldn't be bothered to wait a week for a 6630 :p won't be making that mistake again!

Can't wait for this phone though, looks the dogs. Hope o2 don't charge me the earth for it to upgrade as i'm already on a £45p/m contract and spend quite a lot over that as it is

i'n in the same boat as you i think! except probably going for the N91 :)
 
bah, i'm not an existing customer, and i rarely run up large bills.
ah well, will have to find me a decent contract deal.
 
Just got off the phone with O2 online. The N80 (as posted above) is to be released on the 22nd May. They said it would be £129 on a Pay Monthly 200 contract, yearly upgrade.

The N91 is due to be released on the 22nd May. That was offered to me, again Pay Monthly 200, for £149.99 on a yearly upgrade.

Tempted to go for the N91 TBH. Anyone want an XDAIIi with access.? :p

O2 online told you that?! yesterday, they told me there wasnt any info on either of them!! it all moves fast, this mobiles lark!!
 
Just pestered o2 (again, 3 days in a row :cool: ) and they're still saying 22nd May, but I asked the guy this time any upgrade cost I might have to incur.

The answer?



Nothing :D

Totally free N80 for me when it's released :D

Can't wait!!
