My wife works in CAHMS and she had a 13 yr old stick 3 decent sized coppers in A+E a few years back. One them lost part of his ear to a bite

Yeah a kick in the balls isn't the nicest, granted, but I still would rather all other alternatives explored than using it almost from the off.
No I wouldn't I'm too used to pushing the boundaries to contend myself with running about checking sig sizes etc etc. Anyway if someone is overstepping the mark or someone is getting bullied and if I feel motivated I can jump in and bark at them anyway without needing an avatar or a shiney badge. I also tend to enter debates where I attract a lot of personal attention, and UB/Don probably wouldn't do me as many favours as it would do the forums either so...
