non-caffeinated energy drinks ?

Eat breakfast for sure. No matter how late i am in the morning (usually fairly late :p) i'll make time to scoff down some cereal or a bagel.

Totally agree. And stay away from stodgy/sugary snacks and drinks (have fruit, yoghurt, water, etc instead), and have a light lunch.
