noob to overclocking but surely somethings wrong i5 3570k

hold the - key down till the dvid voltage reduces past 0.0000v then you'll see the negative - offset appear so -0.0005 and so on

Right now really confused

it wont let me change the dynamic vcore (dvid)
no matter what I do
Only lets me adjust the
Dynamic gfx core (vaxg dvid) but it wont let me set it to - only +
When I try to lower it using arrow from +0.05 lets say it just go to 0.00 then to auto

Whats the "low llc" nonsence you speak about ?
I see no llc dont even know what it is lol
Cpu vcores now saying 1.235v (normal)
And the dvid is set to -0.010v

that's it,can you lower dvid anymore? -0.020v? loadline calibration should be in there (llc)

vcore loadline calibration try on low

ps,you can take bios screenshots with usb stick and f12 key I think it is

loadline would push cpu voltage more than needed on auto, you'd need to try and get it to a stable voltage in windows idk what your load voltage is?

but try low llc ect and raise/lower dvid if needed

is there a low llc? try that and try -0.020v

keep testing in prime and see what load cpu v is in cpu-z,if too high still use more dvid - so -0.025v and so on

There is a low llc ill do that
Remember only the turbo is overclocked dono if that makes a difference
Coretemps still saying 1.3441
But cpuz is saying 1.3
Ill say it when I get some later to low and -0.020

go off cpu-z its more accurate

I reckon you might do 4ghz with 1.2v but all depends on each cpu, some need more/less volts

thats at 4.2 turbo
with vcore limit watts and the one under it amps i think set to 250
llc - low
vcore - normal
divd -0.020
ppl 1.75

think i might just give up on this turbo way and just turn it off and set the 3.4ghz on to 4.2
and then manually set the voltage
but i would prefer it the power saving way and the turbo way

it'll work it just takes time, you can undervolt the cpu more now by choosing -0.080v,that should give you 1.216v at load

vcore limit/watts should be fien on auto, ive never had to touch those even at 4.8ghz

cheers dude ill give it ago later ill start at -0.050 i think
and ill change them back to auto

just wondering would it be much harder to bump it up another .1 or .2ghz
like 4.3 or 4.4ghz
or is that more cooliing needed do you recon
