Now i dont know if this is the official North Korean website as im not sure they even have one, especially as it seems such bad quality. However some of the stuff in this is just ridiculous.

It is no secret that there was a crisis during the mid 1990′s in the DPRK. Because of the collapse of the Socialist market, and due to the isolation caused by US embargo and sanctions, the country suffered a difficult period. A natural disaster caused floodings, and combined with the other factors, it created a period which we now call the “Arduous March” where the DPRK had to recover from this situation, and the collapse of the Soviet union while still unduring hostilities by the US who continually to this day try to stifle and isolate the DPRK. Since the end of the 1990′s and around year 2000, the country has completely recovered from the “Arduous March” and has survived as a country which has now become even stronger and more independant than before.

The above is in regards to the documentary filmed by the doctor who went to help the blind citizens of NK while secretly filming. Obviously once the N korean's picked this up they completely slated him.

Have a read yourself and discuss. its and intresting read to give you an idea of the NK state.
 
I an surprised they don't go further and say they have the highest living standards in the world. They come out with some complete tripe at times!
 
It's a shame they actually write this crap.

Their people are suffering, there's no question about that.
 
It made me slightly laugh inside when i saw they had a forum as i was thinking, firstly hardly any N Korean's have internet access and second there is no way they would be able to have the means to a public voice or opinion which defeats the point of forums. However then i noticed that the only post on the forum's was the admin AKA govement! :\
 
NK has some of the best Master Trolls you will ever see. Puts DVDbunny to shame.
