Laptops go faster if you unplug them do they?

Actually that's true for macbooks! :p FACT!

macbooks throttle excessively when plugged in with the battery also removed due to inadequate power supplies - and have done so for a couple of years now.

How do I turn of vsync? I'll give it a go, but doubt it'll do anything tbh. Vsync is another thing that Crysis inflicted upon this world and as such is badly programmed.

Go to where your WoW is installed, go into the Data folder, select Common.mpq, hold down shift and press delete. That should turn vsync off. Make sure you click yes to that Vista dialogue box that comes up.

Crysis didn't invent this  have a read of this

There should be a setting in your ATI catalyst control centre, assuming you actually installed ATI drivers.

Your best bet is to speak to a member called dvdbunny, he's a guru on gaming specs.

Sounds like an ID10T error, unlucky.

I get that error every time I start my computer up, along with a load of these porn websites that come up every time I open a web page for some reason.

Damn Vista, not sure how Microsoft got away with putting pop-ups on when you start Internet Explorer.

Thanks I'll try that, it also explains how my mouse has been slowing things down! Since this works over an RGB interface, or as us Night Elves call it, arr-gee-beee! ;)

On a serious note, I can see this being a "I've got 1GB of RAM, can I unlock ultra high settings on crysis?" all over again!

It's only page 2 but Im voting for this to be archived!

Try moving your mouse slower. It should make the game lag less because then your computer won't have to process so many mouse signals to the game.

What you need is water cooling, just poor some water into your case, making sure to cover your CPU and GPU, that will cool things down and make it run 100x's faster. Maybe you will even get a spot on The Darwin Awards!

Tried that but still doesn't go below 60fps. May have to upgrade it to the g9, although I'll try vsync but I'm pretty sure it's the mouse.
LOL!! 1GB of ram and ultra high settings on crysis? Crysis is so badly programmed that nobody for the next 20 years will be able to run the menu on crysis, let alone high settings! Don't even get mar started!!! har har
