Not powering up

Have you any idea where the noise is coming from?
I know how hard it is trying to locate a noise, but try your best.

Seeings as you may have had some wrong leads on, try clearing the CMOS.

Clear CMOS
(CLRCMOS1, 2-pin jumper)
(see p.11, No. 19)
Note: CLRCMOS1 allows you to clear the data in CMOS. The data in CMOS includes
system setup information such as system password, date, time, and system
setup parameters. To clear and reset the system parameters to default setup,
please turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the power
supply
. After waiting for 15 seconds, use a jumper cap to short 2 pins on
CLRCMOS1 for 5 seconds.

Number 19....note arrow. The jumper prolly came with the board in a bag.
Any jumper will do tho incl those on hard drives / CD roms etc providing it's the same pitch.

I'd also remove the battery for a bit as well.
