I had a sit in that several years ago. Merely being in its presence was quite frightening. I can understand why they decided not to put them into production. Utterly amazing though.

I love the story of how it became just over 800hp.
It was put on a dyno rated for 1000hp and broke it. So they had to de-tune it. Madness.
Would be interested in what you could get out of it now with some tinkering. Not that it needs it of course.

The general consensus when it was launched was that it wasn't all that great. Heavy, scuttle shake, not that fast and didn't handle all that well either compared to M cars. Values cratered for a while but then a UK dealer started buying them all up and marking them up by thousands which lifted the prices across the board.Gorgeous. Didn't Clarkson compare it to driving a truck?
