It's a good job you quoted a half-page post to make this statement, we'd otherwise have no idea which 22B you're talking about.

Weren't the 22b "only" about 50k when new. Nice little return there.
That was the normal ones sold to the public, this is 1 or 3 prototypes delivered to Colin McRae hence why its worth more. But even the normal ones were rare (only 16 to the UK) and cost £40k each but sold out in 24 hours so I expect those will have risen in value as well

Ahh I see. I always wanted that gen, thought they looked cooler than the later versions, but as I'm old enough to get one, they've all been trashed by chavs.
I suspect a lot of the 16 22b will have been kept in heated storage and have done few miles.

The Legacy is arguably more special imo.
They were 30-50K only about 15 years ago. For some reason these have gone proper Halo status. A bit like the R34 GTR and Evo 6 TME.
You sure? the 16 22B don't crop up often and the last one I saw sold for £250k. Cant see such a special limited number car having ever changed hands for less than they were when new.
