If you want to use your computer for something more than games, then NVMe. I use mine for VMware Workstation and running training domain on few lab virtual machines and can see difference between NVMe and Sata SSD..
Have some VM's running on different NVMe drives and doing migrations between ESXi hosts makes difference on how much you can do in given time - that translates to cost efectiveness and also gives you more time to do games when you bored of professional life..
It is all about how much you WRITE to drive, not how much you read from them and that is personal decision of yours..
