Nought , Zero or Oh ?

Ich kann nur ein oder zwei hundert worten (auf Deutsch), nicht mehr. Ich bin dummkopf :( Aber Ich verstehe "nein", lol :p

And my grammar sucks :p

Unless you have private schooling/tuition, most schools in this country only start teaching a foreign language at 11+. Looking at other European nations that's far, far too late. The people who I know who are really fluent either went and lived in abroad, or had private schooling, or both.

But then I keep reminding myself that, as a hermit, it really doesn't help me to speak more languages :p

We did Latin and French in primary school. We also had to wear caps

Job involves taking card payments over the phone so I pretty much use zero exclusively now to be more concise but I used to say oh until a couple of years back.

How's about 0.000001? And don't say one to the ee minus six. :)

Nought point nought nought nought nought nought one . Or 1E-6 :p

If you say "nought" to an american they don't understand what you're talking about. If I want to be precise in relating something i.e. entering a code over the phone its "zero" to avoid any confusion. "Oh" is easy to confuse in computer jargon with the letter so only used informally.

Yes english is inconsistent.

I never, ever say nought, and I positively dislike hearing, or reading, owt or nowt, are they different pronunciations of ought and nought?

From latin? I think I read it somewhere could be wrong.
