I kind of dig the minimalist sound of this; reminds me of early aphex twin/polygon window. Add to that the bass synth type sound texturing... all harks back to a retro feeling thing, which seems to be catching my attention on youtube recently (even though some of it is a few years old and is hardly what you would call mainstream).
